Values of Trig Functions?

Question

Find the values of all the trig functions of "t" if sint t= -1/4 and π < t < 3π/2.

I am not sure what the process is of finding the answer. Could someone please explain? Thank you!

This is where you remember your signs of the functions in different quadrants.   Also, if sin t= opp/hyp, the other side must be sqrt(15).   We are in the 3d quadrant, and sin  values are negative.  Its reciprocal, the cosecant will equal -4.   In this quadrant, the cosine is also negative, and will equal - sqrt(15)/16.
