Valencia boss, Ernesto Valverde, is fully aware of the his team’s current difficult situation and the pressure to win today but believes there is more to live for than just football.

Los Che have managed to win three matches in a row under Valverde before they lost at home to Rayo Vallecano on last weekend.
Some interpreted the defeat as a relapse to the crises that existed under former coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mauricio-c24899 Pellegrino.
However, Valverde believes much progress has been made at the Mestalla since taking charge of the team.
The Spaniard admits that his team is conceding many goals but they are now more tightly knitted as a group. It is a progress that satisfies him.
“What is clear is that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 had conceded many goals. We had to be closer together and in that sense I am satisfied because we are good, but we cannot sleep.”
The tactician then commented on Los Che’s clash with Getafe at the Mestalla stadium tonight. The Valencia boss said that he is aware of the pressure on the club president. Regardless, he played down the significance of this game and said that his team is
not obliged to win this particular fixture.
“I’m not sure if we are obliged to win, I know that there is pressure on the President right now, but not everything can depend on a penalty in the last minute.”
Moreover, the 48-year-old revealed the fact that the morale of the team is a bit low but is hoping that things will improve and become calmer.
“We all know what football is like, and currently our mood is a little down, but I hope that things remain calm. This match is very important.”
Finally, Valverde also reflected on the Champions League last-16 draw that caused his team to clash with French side, Paris Saint Germain.
He admitted that it is a tricky encounter, but is also sure that it will be an interesting match to watch.
“It will be a nice game to watch, but complicated.”
Valencia have again slipped to the bottom-half of the team. They are currently on the 9th position with 24 points.
