Newly-appointed Valencia coach, Ernesto Valverde, has stated that no one at the club wants to leave and he recognizes the importance of coming back to winning ways soon.

“The first day everyone was talking about many things, but I think that the players like to play well and that is what we will try to do.”
The 48-year-old is fully aware of the pressure his team is facing. and that is why he understands the importance of quickly instilling his concepts in the players and slowly but surely coming back to winning ways.
“Certainly it is important in training for the players to pick up on my concepts, but we are hard pressed and I am aware of that. We should go slowly, but by winning games.”

Los Che have slipped to the bottom-half of the table. They are currently on the 12th position with 18 points and they are seven points adrift of 4th placed Real Betis.
