Vampires: The Masquerade - Bloodlines?

Question

I purchased Vampires: The Masquerade - Bloodlines online and activated it and everything. I played some of it, then restarted my computer for other reasons. I went to run the game, and it now is saying I need to 'insert VTMB CD 1 to play.' When I click okay, it brings me to the menu screen of the game, and when I load my game it gives me the same message about the CD, then closes the game with an error report. What do I do? :|

Look on-line to see if there is a compatibility problem with your video card and if there is, is there a driver patch that will correct that error.

This game is great but buggy as h**l.. Update your video driver, reinstall the game, download the latest patches and play. It will probably work, since I had the same problem and that fixed it.

nope-not a techie at all, BUT i have heard the story is based on fact with some embellishments to make it more exciting....who knows,lol
