Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Rafael Van Der Vaart has gone on to insist that his side deserved to pick up all three points against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
Both the teams from London took on each other in the Premier League this past weekend.
Following a very disappointing first half, the two teams turned the heat up in the second half. Tottenham seemed to be the better side in the second half, but despite creating a number of chances in the game, they failed to pick up three points from the
game.
As a result, of the draw, Tottenham are sitting in the fourth spot, with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 now occupying the third position and with Chelsea sitting five points behind the Spurs in the fifth spot.
When talking about the game and just why his side deserved to win it, the Dutch international is quoted to have said: "We had a few great chances - including me twice - and I was disappointed, but that's life as a football player; sometimes you miss.”
"When the ball was on my left foot it was much easier and I tried to smash it. It's a pity.”

"I think we played well today, we kept the ball well, and I think we deserved more than a point."
Despite not getting the three points that they wanted to, Van Der Vaart is confident that his side can build on the draw against Chelsea, as they look to get back to their winning ways.
The London based club has fallen from grace in recent weeks and it is high time for the team to pick themselves up once again.
A win would have given the team a much needed confidence boost in order to do so, but a draw is more than likely to help them a lot more than a loss would have.
He added: "A point gives us confidence for the next few games, especially to have earned it away from home against a big team. We did well."
It is now up to Harry Redknapp and his squad to go on and start producing the results that they need to, or the team could slip out of the top four in the near future.
