The former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker hung up his boots in the summer of 2012, but his love for the game of football has not finished yet, as he has decided to move into coaching career.

However, the Dutchman is of the view that there is still a lot of football left in him, as he has decided to move into coaching career by joining the Boeren coaching department.
In a recent interview, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker expressed his delight over joining the coaching course, and revealed that he will look to do the internship at Philips Stadion at the end of his course that runs until September
this year.

In September, I’ll complete the course and receive my coaching qualifications and there should certainly be the internship

The 36-year-old made his professisonal career debut at the start of the 1993/94 season when he joining FC Den Bosch. After representing the Blue White Dragons in 69 league games, the legendary Dutch striker joined Heerenveen in the summer of 1997. However,

Van Nistelrooy netted an exceptional 62 goals in 67 Eredivisie appearances while donning the jersey of the Boeren before moving to Manchester United in the summer of 2001.
The Dutchman made more than 100 appearances at Old Trafford, and managed to score 95 goals during his five-year stay with the Red Devils.
At the start of the 2006/07 season, the Dutch striker joined Real Madrid, and continued to mesmerise his fans with breathtaking displays on the pitch.
After netting 46 goals in 68 La Liga appearances, the 36-year-old moved to Hamburger halfway through the 2009/10 season before joining Malaga in the summer of 2011. In May 2012, the Dutchman announced his retirement.
