Van Nuys, CA residents: What are the major utility companies providing water, gas, etc.?

I'm moving to Van Nuys and can't find a website for the Van Nuys city hall to get "newcomer" information. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

  1. That's because Van Nuys is part of the City of LA:

    Water and electricity: LA Dept of Water and Power

    Gas: Southern California Gas Company, a Sempra Energy Company.

    Cable: Probably Time Warner, it used to be Adelphia I believe.

    Phone: SBC, formerly PacBell.

    You won't find much of a "welcome to LA" website. Check out each of the companies above to get more info.
