The Gunners are currently sitting in the fourth spot in the league table, with four points separating them from Tottenham, who currently occupy the third spot.

Van Persie, who has been in exceptional form this season, believes that his side have what it takes to finish above their local rivals and should the team continue to play they have been, they could easily secure the third spot before the end of the season.
The Ditch goal scoring machine, when talking about the form that his side have picked up and just how it could impact their season is quoted to have said: "I have a strong feeling that we can finish third"
"That would be quite an achievement, something to be proud of as a club,” said the prolific striker.
"We want to continue that record because Arsenal needs that Champions League place and I think the club deserves it because of its incredible history in the competition."
The forward also went on to admit that he was quite happy to finally show everyone just what he is capable of.
Van Persie has had his fair share of injury problems in the past, but with him finally going through a season without any serious knocks, the striker has scored goals in just about every game.
When talking about his form this season, Van Persie went on to add: "I always had the feeling that it was in there but for various reasons I couldn't show it.”
"Maybe it was my age and sometimes I was injured.
"It's great to be finally showing that I can do it. That's what I've always wanted. I am happy in my game, happy in my life."
