http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 has gone on to reveal that isn’t going to be extending his say at the Emirates.
The striker is currently in his last contractual year with the Gunners and it was strongly believed that he would go on and commit his future to the club.
However, it seems like the player has finally gone on to reveal that what has been on his mind, as he admitted that he doesn’t think his plans and ambitions overlap with the club’s.
The Dutch international has now gone on to use his official website to reveal just what he plans on doing, as he admitted that a difference in opinion and him not agreeing with what the club has in mind for the future is causing him to move elsewhere.
The statement released on the striker’s website is reported to have said: "I personally have had a great season but my goal has been to win trophies with the team and to bring the club back to its glory day,"
"Out of my huge respect for Mr Wenger, the players and the fans I don't want to go into any details, but unfortunately in the meeting it has again become clear to me that we, in many aspects, disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward.”
"I've thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract."
Arsene Wenger had recently gone on to reveal that he would make sure that Van Persie stayed at the club, since he feels the striker is a crucial part of the team.
This is why it is rather interesting to hear what the player has had to say about his future at the club.
At the moment, Juventus and Manchester City are the top two teams being linked with a move for the player. However, for the time being it seems like a move away from the club won’t be discussed for a couple of weeks, since the club is going to focus on trying to bring the fans up to date with what has just happened.
