The recent Hamburg recruit Rafael Van der Vaart joined the Bundesliga outfit from English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. The striker asked his loyal German fans to lower their expectations from him so that they do not get
disappointed. He said it will be difficult for him to replicate his old form for the club of that in 2005-2008.
Therefore, the attacker calmed down his faithful supporters and needs them to give him time to adapt, claiming he has no superpowers. The former Real Madrid forward joined the Rothosen on the deadline day of the summer transfer
window. He signed for the Imtech Arena for a transfer fee around €13 million.
The fans of the German team are ecstatic by the arrival of the Dutch superstar and they could not have asked for team than to welcome back their cult hero back to the club.

"I have continued to follow the team, of course, and I think the team is very good, with many talented players," the Dutch star was quoted as saying in an interview.
"You never forget a club like HSV," the former Real Madrid and Ajax player finally concluded.
Van der Vaart netted 29 goals in 74 games for Hamburg in his three years at the club before leaving for Madrid in 2008 and is likely to start against Werder Bremen on Saturday.
