The Dutch international has refused to rule out a move away from Ajax, and is reportedly in advanced talks with Paris Saint-Germain
The 24-year-old has attracted a lot of suitors in recent times and several clubs across the continent are in the race for his signature.
According to reports, the cash-laden Paris Saint-Germain are the latest club to show an interest in the Dutchman’s services.
The Ile giants are reportedly on a lookout for a new right-back, and the bosses at the club have identified the Ajax full-back as the player who can be a perfect fit in Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
And to add fuel to the fire, Van de Weil praised the French club in an interview.
The 24-year-old stated that the project Les Parisiens have started, has impressed him a lot, and the players they have recruited this summer, are the best in the business.
"Paris Saint-Germain are a wonderful club with a lot of ambition and they have started a great project.”
While talking about his future with the Dutch club, the right-back stated that he has spent his entire career with de Godenzonen and has won everything here. However, the Dutch international now wants a new challenge in his career, and a move to Paris would
be hard to resist.
“I have had a great time at Ajax, but the time has come to move on. I've won two Eredivisie titles, a KNVB Beker and have played in the Champions League. I need a new challenge," the talented defender told reporters.

"Everything is still possible. A new contract with Ajax? Yeah, that is also an option, but that will be a topic after September 1. Until then, we look at a transfer. However, there is nothing concrete,"
If Van der Weil joins the Paris revolution this season, he will be a good hit at Parc des Princes and his addition will further strengthen Carlo Ancelotti’s already bulging squad.
