Vancouver, british columbia.. bad and good areas?

is west 40th avenue a bad area?

that's a very good area, since it's on the west end which is known to be the richer and the almost crimeless part of the city compared to the east side

good area, but overall vanocouver is safe.  that area is considered wealthy and is "near" UBC.

Bad areas are in the east end, like east hastings

best to stay away from the east side  Hastings Powell  Cordova   East Pender.West 4th  a little expensive but good same as Kitsalano
