Vancouver's best Fish n Chips?

During the Christmas holiday's I visited Vancouver, I found that your White Spot fried foods ( chips,ect) tasted different) and also several food places I visited) the answer I got was Trans Fats have been outlawed?

people!!!! you are getting dictated to on what to eat, live ect.

this is becoming a Co******ist country??????

  1. many many places in the US have outlawed transfats.

    why would you want them anyway? they are very bad for you and making fish and chips with them makes no sense.

    it would be better to fry the fish in liquid canola oil.

    as for fish and chips, there are some places in steveston, and codfathers has all you can eat for $9

I live close to Vancouver and as far as I know we in Canada are still able to consume trans fats.  Maybe the places that you visited just opted not to use them.  No laws have been passed about fats in Canada.  I think that would be a good idea though.  White Spot isn't known for healthy eating that's for sure, everything is drenched in triple-o sauce.  Good luck on your quest for trans fats :)
