Vancouver a good place to live in?

1.Cost of living (cheap? Expensive?)

2. Types of people ( Freindly? Culture, religion over there?)I'm half chinese and phillipino. Good place to see phillipinos who could speak tagalog.

5.Criminal rates (is it a bad place?)

6. Types of universities or colleges ( best suited for civil engineering?)

1. Cost of living here is expensive and gets even more expensive due to Taxes. Means: Everything you buy a 13% of it will be added on it. So a really expensive thing will be even MORE expensive.

2. Well, there are ALOT of different people in Vancouver. All from different cultures, towns, countries. The city is mostly filled with Asians (Koreans, Chinese, Japanese, Iranian). And a large part of it, especially cucitlom is Indians and Natives (Phillipinos).

3. The environment in Vancouver, is SOOO Green. Meaning its basically all trees and grass. hardly any fun malls over here. for a nature person this place is heaven, for a cool, mall type of person (My type), its as boring as h**l.

4. Attractions and Famous places include places like: Granville Island, Downtown, The airport (great inuit statue there), and the Metro-town mall (The only awesome mall over here that includes over 450 shops), and the Playland which is only open in the summer.

5. Criminal Rate here is Very low for the 10 years i have lived here, i have never seen any get shot, or shoot at someone.

6. Education here is very good. The only University that i know about is UBC (University of British Colombia) {http://www.ubc.ca/} Which is actually quite well known over the world.

Overall, Vancouver is a great place to live. Safe, Well Educating, And multi-cultural as well. So, well, if you like a calm quite city, this is the city for you. ;)
