Vandalism?

okay this house always gets dingdongditched and c**p. but like 3 times over the past 3 months me and my frineds have smashed 1 bottle of bawls. and today cops wer at her house. me and my friends think they called about the glass. is it vandalism? and what can happen to us.?

Permanent damage (including consequential damage from broken glass, if any) is criminal vandalism.

Time in juvie. Not good. As a parent - and a former kid - I wouldn't think it's worth it but you make your choices.

It's always interesting to see where choices take people! Keeps our world interesting - and provides job security for law enforcement!

Good kids don't smash bottles on porches.  Don't base your "good behavior" reputation on whether or not you are caught.

You could be charged with criminal defacement to property - where although it is not damaged - it is defaced - but not damaged.  A disorderly conduct is also appropriate.

Your consequences depends on your age and the state law penalty.

Guys - find something more healthy to do with you time.
