  5. Rice dream, but i love Oat dream

  6. Rice dream is good as well.  Makes sure it is well chilled

  7. I hated Silk and any other brand of soy milk since the first time I tried it.  I recently started drinking rice milk instead, it's much better and very light.  It's a lot more like skimmed milk.  I don't like flavor milk though.  So I always steer clear of anything vanilla, chocolate, or anything like that.

But overall, it is a personal choice and a matter of personal preferences.

    Good luck!

  8. Rice Dream.

I'm a long-time drinker, and I find rice to be more similar to the actual stuff than soy. Also, if you use it in your cereal (aka use a nonflavored one) there is less of a flavor. Plain soy is rather sweet, and slightly thicker than rice. But rice doesn't have much in the way of a taste, and if you're used to drinking skim anyway the thinner composition shouldn't bother you.

  9. When I still drank cow's milk, I drank skim. Rice dream has a similar consistency to it and I drink it all the time. It doesn't really have a taste (like skim milk) and you should be fine...it's a LOT thinner than Silk. I drank that for a while before switching to RD.

    Cheers!

  10. Soy milk is pretty thick, and rice milk is sweet and delicate. Neither will be perfectly compatible with your previous taste for skim milk, but both are really tasty anyway.

If you like skim milk, you'll like almond milk - try "Almond Breeze" brand Unsweetened Vanilla. Alone it tastes thin and watery and a bit like almonds, but the consistancy and flavor is just like skim milk if you use it in cereal or tea.
