We’ve all heard of Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Chupacabra, Aliens, etc... but my friend John Arthur Davis, an archeologist recently visited Sri Lanka and learned of another terrifying beast called "Vanisurebra" a word that comes from an "extinct language of unknown origin", he was told of this beast by a Burgher family west of Kandy while investigating a big foot sighting which turned out to be a hoax.

Vanisurebra is a gigantic carnivorous mammoth sized elephant with dark black/bluish skin and gigantic tusks. On average it is about 1.5-3 times the size of an ordinary elephant. It roams deep within the thick jungles of India and Sri Lanka, hunting elephants, lions, rhinoceros and tigers alike, and yes… also humans.

My friend calls the beast Elephancubra or Elephancobra “the elephant cobra”, sometimes he calls it “Phancobra” the u in the first spelling coming from the u in Vanisurebra.
