Vans WARPED TOUR concert: How do you know ahead of time what time the bands play? When does it usually start

I tried looking up this information but i can't find it!

I am new to the Vans warped tour and im thinking of going to the one in San Diego, august 14th. I searched even on the official website. What time does the concert start?

I don't get off work till1:30 pm so wont be there till 2pm, is that too late? How do you know ahead of time when the bands play ( i heard you find out at the show cuz there will be a board with times) but i want to see certain bands........I don't want to waste my time if i arrive late!

Also , approx what time does it start and end.

If any of you have been, was it worth it? How long do they play for?

Well, the band appearace times change often, as they have to get everything organized.

2:00 pm isn't such a bad time, you may miss some of your bands, but there's plenty more for you to see. When you first enter, there's usually a small building/tent that gives out white peices of paper with revised timing for each band and location.

The first bands usually start at around 10:00am and the whole tour lasts will anywhere from 9:00-11:00pm.

I went to WT 08' and it was fantastic. In Rochester NY, alot of the music was more metalcore based(screamo) but the bands varrie depending on the date. All that can be checked out at www.warpedtour.com.

And each band will usually play for anywhere from 20-25 minutes depending. But if you want to mosh, i suaggest getting up tword the front early.

I'm going to san diego too

on my ticket it says 11

so that's the time the gates open

bands usually start playing 11:30-12

2:00 isn't too late

and yeah you don't find out the set times until that day

it ends aroung 8:30-9:00

i went last year and it was so much fun

it was so worth it

the bands play for 30 minutes

well hopefully you don't miss the bands you want to see

Sweeet, I'll be going on the 15th at MV.  The concert time should be printed on your ticket - 11pm I believe for your date.  It is never too late to go in, they let you in at any time.  You might miss a band you want to see play though.

The actual times the bands play are determined the MORNING of the actual date.  So there is absolutely no way to find the times ahead of time.  They'll have this huge inflatable board there that will have the times of the bands playing.

Warped ends around 9-9:30.  The last band stops playing at 8:30

Bands usually play for 30-40 minutes.  It is most definitely worth it, best experience of my life.  San Francisco warped was so good I'm going again to Mountain View!
