Vans skate shoes for posers?

im gettin some new skate shoes and i was thinkin about gettin vans or emerica. i hear a lot of ppl sayin that only posers wear vans. is that true??

dood s***w wat other ppl say. vans r the S***e. ive been sk8ing 5 years now, i never sk8ed a pair of shoes tht werent vans 4 like 3 years of me sk8ing. but i realised they exploded 2 quickly so i started using other brands 2 sk8. ive been wearing DC l8ly. and i dig them the most.

Dude, Vans are the ORIGINAL skate shoe. I would go with Emericas though, I have Authentics and they wear out like h**l.

I skate the TNT 2 Mids and Rowely Shambles and have never got that kinda comment.

Don't listen to what all those losers say. Yes, it is true that you will see non-skaters wearing vans but that doesn't mean that TRUE skaters shouldn't be wearing vans.

Yeah, don't listen to what other people say, buy which ever one you like. Yeah many posers do where vans but so what. Personally i would go with the Emericas because they are better skate shoes, look a lot nicer and not that much people wear them.

The best advice it to wear what is comfortable.  Yes a lot of poseurs wear Vans, but they wear DC, Etnies and especially Nike SB as well.  The only people who care what kind of shoes you wear are other poseurs.  Sad really.
