Are there any computers in Varadero Cuba???

Of course there are computers and there is definitely internet access. The resorts carry mini-internet cafes and there are those in the city itself. You can find them throughout Cuba.

Sometimes internet access can be slow, as Richard K mentioned...but sometimes it's quick...just depends on the system for the day.

And Beardo is right about the resorts having internet access...they all do these days. You just have to pay (generally about $3 CUC for half an hour or $6 for one hour -- depending on the resort).

I just got back from Varadero a few days ago.  Our hotel had computers in them for public use.  We could buy an internet card from the front desk and log in and use the net.  Although it was an extremely slow connection, it did the job (although ate up the money on the internet quite quickly lol).  In the downtown area of Varadero I also saw what we call 'internet cafes' that were open to the public... same thing you need to purchase an internet card (mine was 5 cuc for 1/2 an hour), and then you just go in and using the pin # and login, sign in.

F.Y.I Usually in North America the first line is the login and the second the password.  However, on our internet card, the first line is the password and the second the login.  So if you have trouble logging in, try putting the login and password in that way.

Do you mean available for public use ? I am not aware of any general internet cafe, but many of the hotels will have them.

Yes, chances are there will be some available at your resort.  There are also computer cafes on the main street, they won't be hard to find.  They are slow though, so be patient.
