Vary cheap hostel or camp site in venice?

Question

i found out lot of camp site and hostel in venice, italy.

but all is not in the center of the city or near it.

we(me and my gf), need a place to stay on 13th-16th of Sept.

and idea?

Below you'll find information on camping (outside of Venice) and the Youth Hostel (on the Giudecca).

If the weather is fine then you are better off at the camp site if you want to save a buck. The costs to lodge seem to be the same.... it's the tranportation costs that will kill you if you stay on the Giudecca. It costs Euro (each) every time you want to leave the Giudecca. It's in Venice but it's not Venice proper... it's an island with out a bridge to Venice. The bus, on the other hand, from the camp site to Venice proper is one euro each!
