Vasco Du Ronceray likely to earn second straight success
Interesting to note is the fact that Vasco Du Ronceray has smoothly elevated from third to first position on the podium in total three starts of his career that began on March 11, 2012. This remarkable journey has made him a strong and effective runner
who seems to be quite ready to cope with any challenge.
Having rested for almost two months, the Nicky Henderson trained grey gelding is returning to action today in a bid to run the Pertemps People Development Group Juvenile Hurdle at Hereford racecourse.
The three-year-old novice horse has to prove his talent once again against five mighty rivals while running over the good course of 2 miles and 1 furlong. The first prize for the race is £2,534.
The young French gelding has a good hand in such type of contests and he knows well how to handle good surfaces, thus, he will march towards the finish line quite convincingly.
Most probably, the son of Al Namix out of Landza De Ronceray will be the hot favourite candidate for this race. Hopefully, the punters, who opt to stake their money on him, will go home happily after the race that is about to begin in a few hours.
Vasco Du Ronceray finished third in his maiden race entitled as Prix D'Amours (AQPS) (Turf) that was run at Senonnes-pouance. He moved ahead to finish as the runner-up in Prix De Granville (AQPS) (Turf) at Brehal.
Finally, the skilled horse broke his maiden with the ace title of the Prix Julien Brossais (AQPS) (Turf). That contest made the scene at Chateaubriant.
In today’s race, Vasco Du Ronceray will go almost unchallenged as none of his competitors can hamper him. Mexican Wave is likely to fight for the runner-up slot.
The John Price trained bay gelding last ran on September 28 when he stood 6th in the At The Races Sky 415 Juvenile Maiden Hurdle. Earlier, he had finished second in the Malton Racing Association Open Day Handicap on August 26.
Thus, the upcoming race will be interesting to watch. There is likely to be a lot of thrill in the playfield. Good luck to all the contestants.
