Vaseline stains on my DKNY bag?

my son managed to get hold of a tin of lip therapy vaseline and has rubbed it all over my bag. i have taken it to 3 dry cleaners and who have all told me that because its leather trim they cant put t in a dry cleaning machine.

i just need an affective method to get these stains out of my bag.

please help.

Dry cleaning would be the best way to take out grease stains  - most dry cleaners do not guarantee leather trimming because color might bleed and if plastic lining it will harden with the solvent -  Another solution is for you to hand wash it with COLD WATER with dishwashing soap because of the grease stains - gently rub diswashing soap into the stains leave it soaking in COLD WATER for about an hour - rinse a few times (DO NOT wring out) and in the last rinse pour in about 1/8 cup white vinegar to soften the water - DO NOT wring out, drip dry - when almost dry to the touch   put purse in the dryer for about 10 minutes to soften any wrinkles, take out and air dry - if follow instruction you should be happy with the outcome.
