Vatican City to Host the 2026 World Cup

Yesterday on the second of December 2010 FIFA announced that the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by Russia and the 2022 World Cup will be hosted by the Middle Eastern Country Qatar.
So now there is another bid being set here and it may sound outlandish but for the 2026 World Cup the host should be Vatican City!
Yes it does sound outlandish and next to impossible but if the corruption in the voting system and in the Vatican can be over looked along with Vatican’s lack of infrastructure, then the Vatican might prove to be a great choice.
Keeping all of this in mind the Vatican is a great choice as the pope, the biggest Catholic living figure in the world, would be present watching almost every match.
Yes there is not a lot of room in the Vatican to make a super stadium with the level required for a World Cup match and there is only room to make a single stadium.
So it will be very difficult to fit a millions of fans that will come to watch the World Cup fixtures in that single stadium and not to mention the little motels around the Vatican. That will have to fit all the fans and the viewers that will come for the
World Cup.
So if worst comes to worst then the Vatican can take can be aided by places outside the city boundaries such as Trastevere, La Pisna and Roma.
So for all the people thinking that this is not possible then they should know that the Vatican is over a hundred and fifty acres and a standard football pitch is less than two acres across.
The Vatican gardens are only fifty seven acres so if the World Cup gets to be hosted by them then the Pope will most definitely give some land for the World Cup accommodations.
It is an actually fact that John Pail the first actually lost the support of his advisers as he thought that Old Trafford was the nick name of a ninety four year old cardinal in Vatican City. Also John Paul I is also the Pope that has the shortest time to
reign as a Pope.
Also when it comes to the financial backing then the Vatican has a lot of old money; it has a lot of lost treasure locked away in their city vaults. Also the Catholic Church has an annual income which is massive and the numbers are just too staggering for
any man to comprehend.
The Vatican was going in a loss for almost twenty-three years till 1993 but then they got all their finances in order and now they seem a worthy host when it comes to the financial department.
So all of this makes a lot of interest talk to be talked, it does seem unlikely but now impossible and only the future will tell where the following World Cups would be.
