Vauxhal stereo says safe when instaled how do i remove?

hi i have been given a stereo from a vauxhal corsa to go in my combo van but when i installed it the words safe appeard o n the display i have the code for the stereo but cant input it anyone know what to do thanks all.

Hold down the AS button while you turn the stereo on and you will then be able to enter the code, once you have entered the correct code press the AS button again to save it.

Sometimes these stereos will enter a lock down mode if you enter the code incorrectly too many times.

You can sometimes reset this by removing the power but its worth asking your local dealer, mine refered me to a local chap who they use to reset the stereos in these situations - I can't remember who he was now but he did it for only £10 and confirmed the code worked as well etc.
