Vauxhall corsa 2001 central locking problem

I have a vauxhall corsa B 2001 on a Y reg, the passenger door dont respond to the central locking, so i have to open the door by hand once im in the car. any ideas what the problem could be?

  1. Your problem will be down to one of two things.

    1) broken or damaged wireing to the passenger door motor. This would normally be where the wires bend between the door and the door piller. Just pull back the rubber boot and look to see if all wires are connected

    2) The central locking motor in the passenger door has given up. If this is the case it will need replacing.

    There is a third posible problem and that could be the passenger door lock. This is a very rare problem. If the passenger door locking motor works (you can hear it working when you lock or unlock the door) this may be the problem.
