  1. I assume you know the basic stance for bumping?

okay so when bumping just remember to always hit your wrist and forearm, not the hands

dont swing your arm when bumping, if you need more power use your legs by bending down and popping back up

dont know much about over hand serves cause i do some jump underhand serve

the most important thing about overhand serves is your timeing when you toss

make sure you hit with your wrist mostly and dont slap it.  i wouldnt recommend a fist because its very sloppy and bad aiming

when you toss the ball up your right hand's elbow should be pretty far back and your hand should be the same level as your chin and striaght from the hand to the elbow

then when you hit the ball raise your hand up and move your elbow forward at the same time then hit the thing

    basic rules:

6 players on the court for each team

3 hits each time but when you block a hit(spike) it doesnt count

usually a play will be pass, set, hit

if the ball hits the line, it's out

    good luck :]

  2. okay on bumps

take your right hand and make a fist take your left hand and place it over it put your thumbs flat on the fists

*which ever way you bumping lean that shoulder in*

    basic volleyball rules

*anything  outside the white box is out

*6 people on court at a time

*if your team hits it outside your white lines GO FOR IT

*if it hits the ceiling on your side its playable if it hits on there side its their ball

  3. Okay, so I play vball.  The basic ways to do a bump is to put your hands one on top of the other and keep your thumbs together.  Make sure that your knees are bent and the inside of your arms (your "platform") is facing upward.  You should hit the ball somewhere between your elbows and your forearm.

Okay, the serve.  To serve underhand I would keep the ball in my left hand on your finger tips.  Swing your right hand back about a foot behind you.  Bring your right hand underneath the ball and hit it right on your wrist.  Keep your left hand where it is, and make sure your left hand is in a loose fist.  I just keep my fingers loose over my palm.

    Now for the RULES!

Okay your team can only hit the ball 3 times everytime it comes to your side.  You may not carry the ball if it hits the floor.  The lines on the outsides and back are the boundries.  If the ball goes outside them before anyone on the team hits it, it would be your point.  If it goes out after a member of your team hits it, I would go over and hit it.  Blocking the ball cannot happen when someone is serving.  A block is when your entire hand goes over the net.  ONLY your hair is allowed to touch the net, and no part of your body is allowed to cross the line under the net.

    There you have it.
