The 31-year-old attacking midfielder scored his 3rd goal of the ongoing league campaign, having previously scored against FC Krylia Sovetov Samara and Spartak Moscow this season already.
Shirokov, meanwhile, managed to score his first European goal in their second group stage match against AC Milan at home.
Though the former Rubin Kazan man scored an equalizer against the Italian giants, Zenit failed to claim anything out of the game after Tomas Hubocan put the ball into his own net late in the game.
