Veena Malik set to star in Bigg Boss 4
Following her well-timed revelations on the national television at her home country, after the spot hit http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Khan-c71319. Dubbed as Pakistan’s most controversial
TV personality, Veena Malik made it big within almost all cricket playing nations when she said she would provide proof of Mohammad Asif’s involvement in the spot fixing imbroglio, and his links with the Indian bookmakers.
The queen of melodrama has taken the bait, and was confirmed by sources that revealed that she was being looked upon as one of the prime contestants for the reality show, ever since the scandal had hit the international media and quickly turned into a raging
storm. Miss Malik and her love for the camera is no hidden truth and she has been quick to leap at past opportunities of making news on TV as well.
With rumors flying all around that Veena was dating the Pakistani heartthrob (NOT) Mohammad Asif, she was quick to dismiss any such claims. However, soon after pictures and videos of the two spending time together made their way to media outlets and then
there was no running away from the truth. Seeing this as an opportunity to capitalize on her boyfriend’s popularity, or lack thereof several months into the relationship, she accused Asif of owing her a large sum of money.
After much deliberation, they successfully had an out of court settlement and many would have thought that the media and the cricket fans would not have to put up with the torture of seeing her or her ex boyfriend making headlines, however they proved to
be wrong once again.
Her boyfriend, Mr. Mohammad Asif has to be one of the most controversial players in the Pakistan side, after failing a doping test early on in his career when traces of nandralone a banned substance was found in his body. He however, failed to make amends
from the year long ban and soon after was arrested in Dubai for carrying ‘weed’ in his wallet.
Miss Malik, could not have turned down this opportunity to show her pretty face on the TV screen, however she did interact with the Indian media in what is being termed as ‘cultivated disdain’ initially having qualms about the show.
"However, she quickly warmed up to the idea, and could barely conceal her excitement at the prospect of being on a show which is being hosted by Salman Khan," said sources. This woman surely knows her way around the media minefield, exposing just enough
juicy gossip about her affair with the controversial cricketer to keep the audience glued to her stories and her melodramatic antics.
What seems to have hurt the Indian media, however has been a controversial interview where she apparently dismissed the Indian men, who she hinted were absolutely no match for the drop dead gorgeous Pakistani men. All these qualities make her a tailor made
candidate for the reality show, which houses controversial celebrities; have beens, and wannabe’s under 24x7 surveillance.
Convincing the actress was not hard according to sources who have claimed that the negotiations took a day to wind up and the production team has the logistics taken care of. She however, was snotty as she gave advice to the makers of the show to choose
the other 13 participants carefully, “so that they are up to my level.”
In the face of all this publicity for the self glorified actress, the audience feels not an iota of sympathy for her boyfriend Mohammad Asif who is reportedly seeking asylum in England, since he expressed his fears to his lawyer that his life might be under
jeopardy. Asif and Salman Butt are likely to be banned for life, while the foxy girlfriend has surely taken this scandal as an opportunity to capitalize on her acting career.
