If you're asking about the location of your new email alert icon, it will show up in your icon tray (next to the clock) if you have your messenger signed in. If not, download yahoo toolbar.There you will see a " mail " icon. It will have a yellow flash on it when you receive new email.

You can also set your browser to signal or alert you to incoming email by going to yahoo "preferences", found on the messenger management menu, and selecting a sound option.
