Are there any types of foods that you find yourself eating less of in extreme heat?

  1. Most people experience a slightly lesser appetite in warm weather than they do in cold.  Veg*ns should be no exception.


  2. Takes more than a bit of warm weather to put me off me snap!


  3. In my case, with so many folks walking around in bikinis and thongs. food seems so umimportant.

  7. Not really. I eat less cooked food in summer though. And more fruit.

It doesn't matter if you are a vegan, vegetarian or omnivore; most people naturally eat less in the summer because of the heat.  In the winter because it is cold your body wants you to eat more to build fat to keep you warm.  In the summer your body doesn't need that fat to keep warm so you eat less.

  9. Appetite slack off, beer consumption picks up.
