Question:

Vega testing?

I just had a vega test done. The naturopathic dr said that it showed that I needed stuff for my thyroid. My dr's bloodwork showed my thyroid was fine. When I got home, I looked online and kept getting that the vega test is inaccurate and quackery. Does anyone know anything about this test? Is it accurate?

  1. I also go to a naturopath!!! He is the top of the line ,has studied in China, Johns Hopkins and has treated many celebrities!! He uses a Bio-tracker !!!! He knows the guy who invented the vega and he dislikes both -the inventor and the machine!!!!!!:-)))

He says it is inaccurate!!! Having said that!!! You have to know  at what level are you in the results!! Your doctor may say that you are in range even if you just make it on the lowest part of the scale!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! You want to be in the upper range for good health!!

If you are not in the upper range , you may only be deficient in iodine!!

There is a simple target test one can do with ticture of iodine to prove if you are deficient or not!!

most thyroid cases in america are just iodine deficient!!

I was and just supplemented !! Most docs. just want to put one on synthroid instead of testing for iodine!!! BAD MOVE!!!!

  2. The vega test is inaccurate and quackery.

It has no rational scientific basis
