  2. C represents a combination that would supply a complete protien.

    But the theory that plant proteins have to be carefully paired to complete the amino acid profile was debunked years ago.  Even Frances Moore Lappe, who popularized the theory in her book Diet for a Small Planet, admits that she was wrong.  Veg*ns do need to get proteins from a variety of sources, but if you eat a meal with an incomplete protein, your body will use what it needs and store the rest of the aminos in extracellular fluid until the next meal (or the next, or really any meal in the next few days) provides different aminos to build new proteins with.
