so i need a summer readers book for school and it has to be 300 or more pages. does any one know of a vegan book? please no cook books. something that explains veganism or tells you about animal liberation or something like that

I have heard good things about the omnivore dilemma. I'm not sure it is entirely about veganism but it certainly is meant for one to consider it as an ethical option in an environmentally compromised world.

Oh... well, then there's Diet For A New America by John Robbins.  The whole first half of the book is about animals.  Second half about humans - health nutrition etc.

Old MacDonald's Factory Farm by C. David Coats
