I went to the grocery store this morning and saw them putting out some fresh new bread (the kind i just started to buy) so I grabbed one, and the expiary date said it expires TOMORROW?? It says not to refrigerate and store at room temp. but this doesn't make sence, it has basically the same ingreiendts as the other vegan bread I buy, but those ones always expire at least a week after I purchase them!

Do you think their wrong or can I keep in in my cupboards for a week. (This expirary date for this bread has ALWAYS been 1 day after)

this is the ingredients

Stone-ground whole wheat flour*, water, sour starter* (stone-ground whole wheat flour*, water), honey*, kamut*, amaranth*, soft wheat kernel*, flax seeds*, millet*, sunflower seeds*, salt, yeast*.

  1. well its not vegan because of the honey, but if the bread isnt hard as a rock im sure you can eat it and you wont get ill.

  2. This bread is not suitable for vegans.

You can always bake your bread.

  3. Yep, not vegan. Honey wouldn't be there if it weren't for bees.

  4. If it doesn't grow mold or get stale, then it's good.

And I personally wouldn't worry about the honey, but if you're being strict, then no, it's not vegan.

  5. that bread is not vegan, it has honey in it.
