  1. Green and Blacks make it. You can get that in supermarkets. Montezuma make it too but that's mainly sold in wholefood shops.

  2. I had some earlier it was soo good and i'm about to go dig in the trash to find the name for you so just a second...... Darn i didn't find it but I got it from Food Lion and it was this choclate that had a Old man and woman on the front package and the guy had a pitchfork! All I remember is the flavor was sweet dark! It was delicious with no eggs or milk!

    Wasn't too expensive either!!

  3. I buy Green and Black's chocolate smply because the ingredients are ethically sourced and it's organic. Their dark chocolate is vegan, I'd presume that Cadbury's Bourneville dark chocolate is vegan too and probably a little bit cheaper too.

  4. There's a site, www.veganchocolate.com, but I'm not sure how their prices are compared to others.

I also heard that dark chocolate doesn't have dairy in it, plus it's better for you anyway. =) Yum, dark chocolate.

  5. Well I don't know if Green & Black's is the cheapest but it's really, really good & they have all manner of varieties.  You can get it from Supermarkets.

Tesco do their own 'free from' tangerine chocolate which is yummy & fairly cheap I think.

Divine plain chocolate is also good - you can get that at Waitrose but not sure about other supermarkets - haven't looked for it there.

And if you really want serious chocolate p**n - check out Hotel Chocolat (although they don't do a lot of plain chocolate in summer as it doesn't keep well) - I have a box of their serious fix pralines every Christmas & they are well worth the money.

And just to answer another poster about Bournville - it has butter fat in so isn't vegan. Not all dark chocolate is vegan sadly.

  6. Buy any dark chocolate that doesn't have milk in it (milk chocolate is NOT 'vegan' because it has MILK in it) ... dark chocolate is made from only cocoa, cocoa butter, and sugar.  You MAY want to check to be sure it's not produced on the same machinery that has some animal products used, but most of it is produced separately.  READ THE LABEL, but I have several different brands of dark chocolate, and they are all 'vegan' by their ingredients and exposure.  DO NOT buy Hershey's Dark Chocolate, or any of the M&Ms brand, but if you get Paul Newman's Own, Ghirardelli, or Endangered Species Chocolate and it's DARK chocolate, it's vegan.

  7. i've had vegan chocolate before. it taste the same preety much. i dont remember where i got it tho. it wont say vegan it'll say lactose free or milk free or sometin like dat

  8. I found some AMAZING vegan chocolate in the health food aisle of my local King Soopers...I don't remember the company name, but I'm sure you'll find some if you look!

    Good luck!

  9. chocolate itself does come from a plant making it vegan already. Sugar also comes from a plant so chocolate is vegan, not necessarily healthy. Milk isnt vegan but its not even bad for you so being vegan is dumb =)

  10. HEY

Hm... well, Ive seen vegan chocolate buttons in tesco... Ive bought them before, and there good! They were 45p, and they're also available in health shops =]

Ive bought vegan chocolate bars, buttons etc, from sainsburys also, kinnerton was one - http://www.kinnerton.com/ - Its a dark chocolate bar and its very tasty.

They also do vegan easter eggs.

Green and blacks is a popular chocolate organic company, and they do vegan chocolate bars... it says vegan, although it does state that it was manufactured in a factory that uses dairy.

Sainsburys do they're own brand soya chocolate bars, found in the 'free from' section.

And finally... of course, you can always go to Holland and Barrett, Fodder or any other health food shop, and you will always find vegan chocolate, plus loads of other great tasting vegan stuff such as vegan ice cream, vegan sausages and lots more.

    =].

Hope i helped and good luck to you!

  11. DONNO

  12. omgsh its so gross (no offense) i tried it... i didnt like it... obviously.. go to wegmens if u have 1 by u

  13. Kona Kava is good. We make it here in Hawaii. That might not be close enough to you. Maybe if you don't want to pay shipping & handling you could go onto yellowbook and search for a homepathic store. They usually know where all the good vegan stuff is.
