Vegan fast food restraunt?

Would you eat at a vegan fast food like cafe, or drive tru, would you go there and try it out.? would it be a good idea.

My aunt actually brought a building that she's going to turn into a Vegan Diner.

I think it would be a great idea! There are two vegan fast food style restaurants near me that I sometimes eat at with both vegan and non-vegetarian friends.

A national chain would be even better.

I am not a vegetarian and would not convert my food habits, however, I would try a place like that for something different.  The price would have to be reasonable and good service.....something different, people always looking for change.....

Yes.  --& I'd eat there often if the price was okay & if the food was good.

My problem w/ some veg deli's & cafes is that they don't pay enough attention to flavor & moisture (bland & too dry).  If I can make it tasty at home, the pro's should be able to do at least as well.

A new veg cafe started up in my town & the owner is gung ho on promoting it as vegetarian, though she operates in an area where that's not popular. It would be much smarter to just have the yummy food, & not push vegetarianism. It's more inviting & inclusive to just serve good meatless food & let the customer decide their intent & derive their own meaning.

  There was a marketing study that showed food labeled as "meatless" sold better than food labeled "vegetarian."

The words vegetarian & vegan have a lot of cultural baggage & mis-perceptions attached. Plus, it doesn't help that the most vocal & visible of vegetarians tend to be 19 or so, & are sometimes  still in a phase of posturing & self righteousness.

-If you're considering opeing such a food joint, I hope you do.

*I went to In & Out Burger with my coworkers & got the "veggie burger". I was served an empty bun smeared with condiment & a 2" piece of iceburg lettuce!  I went back to tell them that they forgot the veggie burger & they insisted that the bun with smear equals veg burger.

Oh wow it would be great. I know it's easy to get vegan food at Chipotle, but that's not really fast. The veggie sandwiches at Wendy's are ridiculous [catsup,mustard, pickle, lettuce in a bun] At least they have a spot on the cash register for it.  I t takes cashiers at most places by surprise if you order a hamburger without the meat.
