  1. use tofu or either tauki.

  2. Above Influence has given the answer.

You can actually use tofu for thickening, ripe banana (mashed) and apple sauce for cookies, cakes, desserts and other sweets. There are also vegan egg replacers that are available...in some other countries. Flax seeds can be used too for baking, but you need add a bit more water on whatever you are baking.

  3. Ooooh cake and cookies with no Butter or eggs,  these are gonna be good!

  4. whats the point of being vegan?

eating eggs or butter doesnt hurt an animal

  5. Well if you want eggs they do make egg replacements for people who don't use eggs (i have some right now!) You can buy them from any organics store and they look like this!http://www.veganstore.com/index.html?sto...

As for butter i've seen no good subs. I usually don't need butter though, I don't find it useful ever! I've made cookies without butter and eggs and they were great! And don't let those people tell you not to be veg@n. They don't understand the torture animals go through, or they just don't care. Anyway, good luck with your veg@nism!

  6. Here are some replacements and the measurements (for eggs):

Note: You can also use 1/4 cup of applesauce or 1 banana when baking deserts.

Here is a link for dairy replacements:

I'm really sorry, but I can't find one for butter. But you can use Earth Balance Natural Spreads. Try checking a local grocery store for it.

  7. For eggs I usually use mashed banana, tofu, or applesauce depending what I have on hand.

You could probably use margarine for butter just read the ingredients, lots are vegan.

And the milk you could try rice, soy, or even almond milk.

    Hope it helps!

  8. Here are some substitutes for one egg in baked goods:

*Half a small, riped, mashed banana

*1/4 cup of tofu (blended with the liquid ingredients)

*1-1/2 Teaspoons of commercial egg replacer mixed with 2 tablespoons of water

    *1/4 Cup of applesauce

*One tablespoon of soy flour mixed with one tablespoon of water

*2 tablespoons of cornstarch beaten with 2 tablespoons of water

*One tablespoon of ground flax seed mixed with 1/4 cup of water

Certain substitutes will work better with certain recipes. You just have to experiment to see which works best in each recipe.

For the butter, you can use non-dairy margarine. Earth Balance is the most popular one, and my favorite is Smart Balance light. Hope this helps!

  9. how about don't be a vegan its too much hassle
