Vegan ice cream!!!!!?

Question

i read this book and now im vegan but i love ice cream

does anyone know a store that sells vegan or soy ice cream??

I buy my *ice cream* at Krogers - but have seen it in all the major stores.  Not difficult to find at all.  If you don't know where to find it - just ask someone in the store.  It usually is within the health food area of the store - frozen section.

I prefer 'Soy Delicious' - or is it 'So Delicious' now.....  anyway - one of those names.  I even buy an individual frozen treat to eat on the way home at times.

Not to crazy about the 'Rice Dreams' (I think it is).  

'Tofutti' is ok - but not my first choice.

Publix sells Tofutti chocolate and the mini chocolate sandwiches---they are SOOOO GOOD and taste just like the real thing!!

You can find it at any larger grocery store.  I love It's Soy Delicious-  it's very, very close to the real thing and is just wonderful.  Tofutti tastes good, but the texture is a little off.  I buy those too.  Run to the store and take care of your ice cream fix!!

If there's a Whole Foods or natural foods store near you, that's the best place to go, as they'll likely have a good selection.  Soy Delicious Purely Decadent is the best stuff in the world.  Yum!  You might find some in your local conventional grocery store, but they tend to have less selection.

whole foods has quite a variety

tofutti's cutie pies (small ice cream sandwiches) from trader joe's is sooooo good. tastes like actual ice cream sandwiches. comes in chocolate and vanilla. i'm pretty sure whole foods might have it, but i usually get my fix from trader joe's!

trader Joe's have good flavors like, chocolate, Vanilia and mango, and black cherry. those are the ones I've heard of but there might be more.

if you don't mind making it... you can make almond ice cream.  it's healthy and tastes fabulous.

(in lieu of vanilla bean, add various extracts for different flavors... strawberry is my favorite!)

You can get tofutti or soy Ice cream in most supermarkets now, my favorite is chocolate cherry....and if you have whole Foods, they do for sure.
