Vegan in the British Royal Navy?

Just wondering if anyone knew what kinda food i could eat/ and would be provided in the Navy?

You will starve if you are vegan in the military. You will eat meat, fish and eggs and like it. There is no other choice. Sorry.

Being an ex army cook in the late fifty's

i can honestly say that what you eat at home

will also be provided for in the three armed

forces,nearly as good as mum makes but

with more choice.

Vegans and others with dietery needs (except medical) are catered for in the UK armed forces. Even 24 hour ration packs are supplied as vegan, halal vegetarian etc.

While I was in the RAF not the RN, my work inclued visiting many naval air stations.

Even in the 60s and 70s, all dietary requirments were well catered for, even the army 'marches on it's stomach'.
