  1. This is what I had today:

Breakfast: 1 cup Silk soy milk plus omega 3, 2 scoops kashi vanilla protein powder, and 2 bananas blended together to make a smoothie.

Lunch: Almond butter on wheat pita bread, dried apples, vanilla soy milk.

Dinner: Vegan version of "Pigs in a blanket"(I like to experiment, and this one was pretty good), carrots, 1 cup almond milk.

  2. I try to feed my kids a variety of foods, but here are some of their favorites: (obviously not all in the same meal)

Breakfast- cereal with soy milk, vegan pancakes, tofu scramble and soy sausage patties, vegan waffles, or toast with peanut butter, and then some type of fruit with each breakfast

Lunch- PB&J sandwiches, veggie dogs, barley-vegetable soup, grilled "chesse" sandwiches with avacado, veggie burgers and tater tots, or left overs from dinner the night before, and then a vegetable on the side (carrots, broccoli, corn, etc) and fruit

Dinner- Spaghetti w/ marinara and veggies and garlic bread, tofu stir-fry and rice, veggie "meatloaf" w/ mashed potatoes and veggies, soy tacos and spanish rice and beans, lentils and rice or black beans and rice with a veggie, various casseroles, or a vegan pizza

2-3 snacks- (a mixture of the following) fruits, soy yogurt, pretzel sticks, avacado or PB and crackers, cashews, almonds, soy "cheese", graham crackers

Drinks- Calcium fortified OJ, soy milk, occasionally apple or grape juice, and of course water.

I also try to add nutritional yeast to at least one meal a day

  3. Um... the same stuff I eat.

Breakfast is usually oatmeal.  Either with malt added for sweetness, or on other days vegetables, little soy sauce, peas, chopped up veggie ham, or whatever (oats are a grain, just like rice).

Lunch, I usually pack them all kinds of things... soup, rice, noodles, sandwich, and snacks of crackers with spread of some kind, or home made cookies, dried fruit for in between meal snacks, a vitasoy drink box or other non-dairy drink...

Dinner... man... everyday is different, so... spaghetti, pizza, stir fry, rice, noodles, ... whatever. All very healthy, no sugar, mostly organic, and natural etc.

  4. I'm actually 15 and a vegan, but I'm very careful with my diet. This is what i had today.

-breakfast: 2 sausage alternative breakfast patties on one piece of whole wheat English muffin with ketchup. Apple slices with veggie cheese. Silk brand soy milk

-snack: 1/2 cliff bar with watermelon. water

-Lunch: spinach salad (baby spinach, romaine lettuce, cashews, corn, onion, Asian sesame dressing). With a peanut butter and jelly sandwich on whole wheat bread. water

    -snack: chocolate soy milk

-dinner: Uncle Ben's brand vegetarian rice mix in tomato sauce (package). I put 1/4 package plain crumbled firm tofu in the rice as well. barely blanched asparagus (optional melted vegan butter) with cantaloupe. water

-dessert: sugar-water strawberries. chocolate soy milk

I also take two multivitamins a day (breakfast and dinner). I like the active teen multi brand because I think it is the most complete. a good B complex is very important. I also try to take two tablespoons of raw flax seeds a day. You could also take 1 tablespoon of flax seed oil, or take a natural tablet which is the same amount of flax. flax is good for unsaturated fats and omega-3s.

good luckk!! and just try a lot of different things. This is a great website
