I'm 16, and I've been vegetarian for quite sometime. My parent's so don't approve but it's a personal decesion, and I've been thinking of going vegan for the longest time- what are some things I could make/ or eat to be vegan. I really want to be vegan, just to have something to concentrate on- but I love string cheese. haha

  1. Hey. (=  Ive been vegetarian for a few years now. Its not all that healthy to go vegan. To me, being Vegetarian  is about not eating anything that casts a shadow, as in has a life. Eating milk, cheese, ect is not in any way hurting the animal, so there fore there is no good reason to become a vegan. Phahaps, if you still eat fish you could stop and take tablets instead?

Dont get me wrong, i respect vegans...but there is no real reason for becoming one.

  2. There are tons of things to eat, try this website:

  3. In addttion to all the posting above,

there is a very important vitamin you need to take - B12

You need to eat foods fortified with vitamin B12 or take B12 supplements.

  4. haha i love string cheese too lol ummmmm....you could eat salad :D idk i am not a vegan lol

  5. im 17 and a vegitairan, my parents dont approve of that either, but i can NOT go vegan, its to hard because there is so much needed calcium in milk and cheeze, plus, iits near impossible to find a recipe that has in NO way been used by ANY animal, they use cow p**p alot to fertilize vegitables,

  6. I personally would not go vegan. Its not the healthiest of choices. if i were you i would stay a vegeterian. if your  going vegan to be healtheir i recommend you don't. i recommend that you just cut some stuff out of your diet slowly.  I'm a vegeterian but i have cut out small things like eggs and butter.

  7. Milk products do cause harm to the animals! Dairy cows are usually in a lot of pain. Their udders get sore and infected. Also, they have to be kept pregnant in order to keep producing milk. And you know where those babies go? Straight to the veal pens.

There are so many great websites with vegan recipes.
