Vegans?? What do you eat in a normal day??? Examples of a few of your favorite meals??

What kind of things do you eat in a normal day???

I'm a vegan, and i was just wondering what everybody else ate....

  1. well today for example i had:

    breakfast:

    -a bowl of whole grain cornflakes with a little whole grain granola

    -cup of white tea with cane sugar

    lunch:

    -2 whole grain toasts with natural peanutbutter

    -1cup pineapple

    snack:

    1apple

    dinner:

    -2cups whole grain pasta with homemade natural tomato sauce

    -homemade salad


  2. mostly veggies,soy milk,lentil soup,vegan sushi =](just discovered 21 options at my local sushi place) Fruits smoothies, bread, occasional tofu, bean burritos..Im still trying out recipes too. I made vegan pancakes recently yumm! I added brown sugar and cinnomin which tasted so good I didnt have to have that syrup(tastes good but is full of nasty stuff)

  3. Today I had:

    tons of water

    Breakfast:

    1 banana

    1 kiwi

    Lunch

    *natural* peanut butter and "jelly" sandwich

    (I just mashed up raspberries)

    on whole wheat, toasted bread

    baby carrots

    Snack

    some almonds and walnuts

    Dinner

    eggplant dipped in non-fat italian dressing, then in seasoned bread crumbs, baked (for like 20 minutes at 400 degrees)

    with marinara sauce and whole wheat pasta

    raspberry sorbet for dessert...they're in season up here in WA, I have so so so many raspberries

    I also like bean and rice burritos

    fried rice

    stir fry (general tao's from vegweb.com-delicious)

    nachos

    the occasional boca burger smeared with avocado (I like to mash things a lot...)

    I get SO many recipes from vegweb.com, I have like 40 in my "recipe box" that I LOVE

    Oatmeal with soy milk and fruit

    bagel with tofutti better than cream cheese and jelly

    fortified breakfast cereals with soy milk

    tofu scramble

    left-over vegan pizza

    Lunch ideas:

    Pita with hummus or refried beans and soy cheese

    toasted soy cheese

    leftover dinner items

    faux meat and vegetable sandwiches

    vegetable sandwiches

    meatless meatball sub

    chick'n patty on a roll

    salad

    Dinner ideas:

    Vegan chili and corn cake

    macaroni and soy cheese with stewed tomatoes

    spaghetti and meatless meatballs

    smart dogs and vegetarian baked beans

    bean and soy cheese burritos

    vegan pizza (mmm...)

    vegetable and tofu stir-fry

    Snack ideas:

    fruit (fresh, frozen or dried)

    vegetables (fresh, frozen, cold, or cooked)

    nuts

    seeds

    cookies and chips sparingly.

    soy ice cream

    dark chocolate

    vegan candy

  5. fries. rice. non-dairy frozen dessert aka vegan ice cream.

  6. I eat fruits esp my faves like pineapple, banana, some grapes and apples. I also eat homemade whole wheat bread which I make every week. I always eat whole wheat pita bread because it is very easy to prepare and cook, vegan sloppy joes, avocados too, hummus, soya milk, tofu, nuts (peanuts... yum), legumes, beans, rice, vegan sushi, TVP and veggies. Vegan here.
