Vegans: how do you keep a balanced diet?

don't we need the proper protein and stuff like that? how do vegans stay healthy?

  2. There are frozen food items that are made all vegetarian called Boca Burgers. They are made to resemble and taste like meat but they don't have any meat in them. . Depending on how strict of a Vegan you are it changes. If you do not drink milk, try soy milk. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits.

  3. If you're eating a varied diet and including all of the vegan food groups, protein is not an issue.

    Vegans stay healthy by eating healthy.  If you're talking about vegans as "we" and you don't know what vegans eat to stay healthy, you need to be looking into real sources of information, not asking broad questions on YA.  I highly recommend that you read "Becoming Vegan" by Brenda Davis and Vesanto Melina.  Both are registered dietitians and the book is pretty much the bible of vegan nutrition.
