  1. Markers need to be paid whether you are Charles Barkley or nobody. Thats the new Vegas, maybe 20 or thirty years ago you might see some loyalty but these days its all about numbers. Casinos like the Wynn need to reports good quarters especially in a slumping economy where gamblers and disposable income are becoming scarce

  2. sure. if a casino kicks somebody out, they're probably being di<ks, so i would prefer a casino that gets rid of them, regardless of their past history there.

  3. If you're referring to the Charles Barkley situation, he got 'outed' because he was so slow in paying a huge debt that they were forced to sue him. Any public humiliation he endured was of his own doing.

I am not aware of any casinos that would not exercise discretion with good customers who did not run up a huge debt with them and skip out on it.

  4. In Vegas, and at many other casinos, if you win big they will want to use that information to promote the casino. Hit a big slot jackpot and they will take your picture with the check. In my experience this is not optional for the player. But then it has only happened to me twice, lol, over many years.

Other than that I have never been outed, although I do find myself on several mailing lists from my players cards at some casinos.

Also, when I have played in some of the bigger sponsored tournaments for Poker or Blackjack, the entry forms contain a clause that states I agree that the information I provide may be used by the casino in promotions and advertising.

So in some cases you can be "outed" by the casinos when you play there.

However, most of the times I have played, I am provided the privacy I expect, and if I saw my name on some published list of list of  frequent players, I would be very unhappy, and cease giving that casino group by patronage.

However, I guess I would not mind my name appearing on some list of winners, lol, as long as I won big!
