Question:

Vegas restuarants: good but on the cheaper side?

Hello I am wanting to know some good but cheaper restuarants in vegas I dont want buffets I am looking for a sit down dinner type of restuarant maybe one sort of unique. Thanks so much Oh and by the way I will be staying at the Stratosphere so Im wanting one some what close I know there is one at the top have any of you ate there?

the Firefly on Paradise is supposed to be pretty good, and if you keep going down Paradise you can go to the Hofbrauhaus, i seen their menu and it looks yummy AND affordable, if you like german food. The firefly is more of a tapas restaurant, I guess. I ate at the Top of the World on valentines day with me girl, and the food was VERY good, but expensive.

Not far from there. The Broiler Steakhouse at Palace Station.

Not Denny's cheap but for a good steakhouse it is really reasonable and great food.

Top of the world is pretty good the of the inside the strat i didnt like.. They used to have a Hamada of Japan but i dont think they have it anymore which was the best.

There are two restaurants at the Stratosphere we used to go to a lot before my mom passed away.  She loved to play nickels there so we'd make it a day.  We ate at Roxy's Diner quite a few times.  It's an old 50s diner with great ambience.  And Fellini's Italian Restaurant there is not very expensive at all and has great food.

You can go across the street to the Nascar Cafe at the Sahara.  They also have a nice Mexican restuarant with good prices and better food.

If I were you I'd walk around the casinos and check out all the coffee shops.  Some of them are nicer than the best restuarants in the town you live in.  I was surprised when I first moved here by the quality of the coffee shops in town. I highly recommend the coffee shop at Palace Station.  It's recently remodeled and has a great menu and if you go there ask for the steak and shrimp special.  Very good at budget prices.
