Question:

Vegetarian,but needs help for complications?

i havent had beef or pork in years.i do eat poultry but i want to stop.i just dont want anything to die to support my life!im having a problem,tho.no h8rs or mockers,please.i have ulcerative colitis.its hereditary in my case.when i eat a lot of fiber,i get very ill,i bleed-its no joke,i can wind up in hospital.anyone,can u tell me some completely meatless but lo-fiber options?a lot of vegetarian/vegan foods are full of fiber,i want to commit to this diet,but i cant obviously make myself ill-suggestions to get enough protein?beans and grains i cant do,except in small amounts.if any suggestions,i would appreciate it.

  1. Try silken or firm tofu, its high in protein, and very soft.  You can use the silken for desserts and sauces, and the firm will take on any flavor you give it.  I use the firm in stir fry with soy garlic and ginger.  There are alot of soy based products out there, and as long as you avoid the bean form, you should be able to make good use of them.
