  1. Key word is the *FISH* eggs.

I don't know of any vegetarian that would eat them.  Sure that there are more than likely some out there that would - just that I don't know of any.

My view - no they are not vegetarian.

  2. No, because unlike with hens who lay the eggs, the fish must be slaughtered to get at the roe (eggs).

  3. get the oven very hot, take some aubergines

prick all overwith a fork, put in the oven for

about half an hour or until they are REALLY

    soft.

let them cool for about 15 mins, cut lenghtways

scoop out the flesh, put in a blender with a little garlic, while it's whizzing add some olive oil

    & lemon juice.

leave in the fridge until totally cold, eat with warm ciabatta.

    aubergine caviar

  4. What?! Of course not HELLO you answered your own question look at the words FISH EGGS !!!!!!!! I dunno the dumbass who in the first place though people should eat eggs from a fish ......would you eat your own menstrual eggs? just making a point...........because thats what they are.........

  5. I know of something called Carolina Caviar that is also called Vegetarian Caviar... It isnt caviar at all..It is a cold salad made with Black Eyed Peas, onions, tomatoes and spices....

  6. A true vegetarian wouldn't eat it. Those that call themselves vegetarians but eat fish and eggs would.

  7. If they kill an animal to get it, it isn't vegetarian.

  8. people who eat fish but not meat are pescetarians(i think thats how you spell it) not vegetarians, so no it is not vegetarian but there is probably some available.

  9. It would be up to the individual.

Personally, as a vegetarian I would not, but as they are technically not fish meat, they could be seen as vegetarian.

Though I would be suprised to find them under the "vegetarian options" in a restaurant.

  10. it made by roasting whole aubergines which are then skin ed and chopped and mixed lemon and garlic and seasoned with salt and pepper and a sprinkle of parleys. can be use as a low fat dip or with grilled peppers and so on .

  11. no its not because the fish has to be killed to get at the eggs. chickens lay eggs and are not killed.
