I can give you a list of sites that will list the 100's of diseases that they can have.  If I posted them all here - it would be a very LONG LIST!

Just as any other species - they can get MANY diseases.

Cysticercosis (pork)

salmonella (chicken)

ecoli (any type of ground or minced meat)

both beef and pork can have tapeworm

there are a lot of parasites that are in fish as well so if you are going to eat sushi make sure it is safe
