  1. i just make my own regular mac and cheese, add the soy ground meat, and throw in some broccoli.  u don't need to  bother with the brand hamburger helper box.

  2. Read the ingredients.

  3. Several have beef fat or chicken fat.  Read the label.

  4. no, hamburger helper it self is just noodles and spices/sauce. the only meat would be what you add-but since you are adding soy meat-then you are good to go!

*edit* didnt think about what the girl before me said- i guess there could be some egg and stuff in the sauce...

  5. You have to read the ingredients.

I would think it would be healthier to make your own version of helper.  You could use whole grain noodles, better cheese (soy cheese would be good) and just add your own seasonings.

Hamburger helper is not considered very healthy and it doesn't have very much nutrition.  It's basically empty calories.

If you make your own you could add beans too.  That would give you some protein beside the soy meat.

  6. you have to read the ingredients on the box.  it might have chicken fat, stock, or broth and milk and or cheese in the seasoning packet and probably eggs in the pasta.
